Arriving in the right season venture out on our comfortable 12 seater twin engine charter to catch a moment not to be forgotten. The channel between Sainte-Marie Island and Madagascar is a hot spot for whale watching. Substantial groups of humpback whales (Megaptera) migrate from the Antarctic to this idyllic breeding place. These mammals find conditions here that are favorable for the growth of their young. At times these gentle giants can be seen right off Sambatras Bungalow Beach Fronts, before their big return back towards the cold seas.
