    THE OWNERS

You'll be talking to Vincent or Valerie.

They run the lodge. They answer the phone.

Sambatra is a small, family-run lodge — no call centre, no booking desk, no chatbot. When you write or call, it's Vincent or Valerie at the other end. They live on the island, they know the boats and the tide tables, and they're the ones who'll greet you when you arrive.

    THE TEAM

The faces you'll get to meet.

A small team from the village — cousins, neighbours, friends.

All of our team live within walking distance of the lodge. Many have been here since Sambatra opened. Between them they speak Malagasy, French, and enough English to recommend the rum.
